2017 development activities began the Monday after the Connecticut Golf Academy closed for the season. The goals surrounding the development for 2017 include:
1. Further enhancement of a short game area. This was accomplished with the development of a target green at 50 yards surrounded by sand bunkers and landscaping. This target green will be able to be accessed by both the upper and lower tee boxes.
2. Seeding and conditioning of the upper and lower tee boxes with a combination of Bluegrass and Fescue seeding. This will enable the facility to offer quality grass tees to practice from in 2017.
3. Expansion of both the upper and lower teaching areas with tee-line matting. These 15' areas will accommodate additional instruction for the growing demand of lessons.
4. Additional landscaping to continue to beautify the facility.
