  • About Sports Venue Development
We continuously review COVID-19 guidelines from the Governor's Office, the Connecticut State Department of Economic Community Development, and the CSGA, and we work to meet the requirements for operation. We have made significant changes and they are as follows:

1. Facility hours will be 9am to 7pm 7 days a week.
2. All bucket sales must occur through the ball dispenser machine located next to the business office. There will be no access to the inside of the business office.
3. Acceptable forms of payment are exact cash only through the ball dispenser machine. No change is provided from the ball dispenser machine and it accepts $1’s, $5’s, and $10’s in any combination.
4. Credit and debit card transactions for tokens to be used in the ball dispenser machine can be made at the walk-up window at the front of the business office. There is a minimum purchase of $10 when purchasing tokens using a credit or debit card, which provides 2 tokens. Each token dispenses 45 golf balls.
5. Cash prices for buckets are: Small - $5, Large - $10, Jumbo - $12.
6. When purchasing buckets from the ball dispenser machine practice social distancing.
7. Each customer must remain in their own hitting stall, which conforms to social distancing requirements.
8. All of the patio furniture is set up six feet from each other. Please leave the patio furniture where it is.
9. All golf balls are washed after they are picked from the range.

When you arrive in the parking lot, if you are purchasing buckets with cash, please proceed to the ball dispenser machine located next to the business office to obtain your buckets and make payment. If you would like to use a credit or debit card to purchase buckets, please proceed to the walk-up window to purchase your tokens. Please follow the instructions posted on the ball dispenser machine to get your golf balls. Then you may proceed to a stall. When finished hitting, please leave the buckets at the stall and they will be collected. The stalls at the facility are set up so that golfers are at least six feet from other golfers. We ask that you practice social distancing, whether you are purchasing buckets, hitting in a stall, or on the putting green.

While we understand the above process is somewhat detailed, we feel that by following these simple rules we can operate the Connecticut Golf Academy with the new guidelines.
